Function description
The speakers are designed according to the three-way bass-reflex principle.
A 165-mm chassis includes the woofer, a 65-mm cone chassis the midrange and a
50-mm cone chassis the tweeter.
The midrange is offset by 45° from the normal emitting direction. This yields a better
surround sound impression.
Commissioning
To guarantee a proper commissioning of the product, please read
this operating manual with the safety instructions completely and
carefully before using the device.
Setting up the speakers
Do not place your speakers in the direct vicinity of screens such
as TV sets or PC monitors. There is the risk of the speakers'
magnetic fields distorting the picture.
To yield the best possible sound image, please try to implement the following
instructions concerning the location of the speakers within the scope of your room's
arrangement:
• Set the speakers up in a way that the location where you intend to hear the sound
is in equal distance of both speakers (equilateral triangle).
• The skewed part of the speaker must show to the outside.
• In rectangular rooms, the speakers should possibly be set up alongside a short
wall.
• The tweeter should be located in ear-height. For this purpose, speaker stands,
which are set up on the floor, are extremely-well suited as they thus lift the tweeter
to ear-height.
• The speakers should be set up unobstructed (approx. in 50-cm distance of each
wall).
We recommend to do a bit of experimenting within the scope of your premises and
the direction of the speakers to determine the best possible location within your
sound room.
