Nod Function
The nod function allows you to move your model helicopter forward and backward (see figure 16). The control is
likewise effected with the right control stick (see figure 1, item 4).
If you press the lever slightly forward, the model flies forward.
If you pull the lever towards the back, the model flies backwards.
The nod and roll functions are controlled mechanically through the swash plate (see figure 12, item 2). The
swash plate is always tilted into the direction that is the desired flight direction. This makes it possible to
see of steering commands turn the rotor head into the right direction even when the main rotor is off.
