• Remove the rechargeable flight battery from the model for charging, as the heat generated during charging may
damage the rechargeable battery holder or the model.
• As the charger as well as the rechargeable flight battery heat up during the charging procedure, it is necessary to
ensure sufficient ventilation. Never cover the charger and the rechargeable flight battery! Of course, this also applies
for all other chargers and rechargeable batteries.
Caution!
The enclosed wall-plug transformer is not suited for charging batteries in the remote control
transmitter! Never connect it to the remote control transmitter!
• Never charge rechargeable batteries unsupervised.
• Disconnect the rechargeable flight battery from the charger when the battery is fully charged.
• The charger and the rechargeable battery must not get damp or wet. There is danger to life through an electric
shock; furthermore, there is danger of fire and explosion from the rechargeable battery.
The operation of the remote control (transmitter) with rechargeable batteries instead of batteries is
possible.
However, the low voltage (batteries=1.5 V, rechargeable batteries=1.2 V) and the lower capacity of
rechargeable batteries do lead to a decrease of the operating time. However, normally this does not
matter, since the operating time of the transmitter is far beyond that of the helicopter.
If you use batteries in the remote control, we recommend the use of high-quality alkaline batteries.
When using rechargeable batteries there can be a decrease in range.
