c) Switching on or off
• Switching on: Press the button
The LED status ring (2) lights up blue when the speaker is not connected to any Bluetooth
device, and flashes blue when it is connected to a Bluetooth

The LED status ring (2) lights up red briefly and then goes out afterwards.
d) Pairing
Before it is possible to transmit between your Bluetooth
must be coupled with each other. This process is called „pairing".

h) Use as external speaker/microphone combination
This function is only possible with Windows XP, Vista, 7 and Windows 8.
• Plug the accompanying micro-USB cable in the USB interface (13).
• Connect the other end of the Micro-USB cable to the USB interface of your computer.
• The computer will recognise the speaker and installs the required driver automatically.
• After the installation, the speaker can be used as external speaker/microphone combination
for your computer (similar to a headset).

Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.

a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste. Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statu-
tory regulations.
Remove the rechargeable battery inserted and dispose of it separately from the
product.
b) Rechargeable battery
As the end user, you are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all spent rechargeable
batteries; disposal of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Rechargeable batteries containing hazardous substances are labelled with the sym-
bol shown to indicate that disposal in household waste is forbidden. The symbols of
the critical heavy metals are: Cd=cadmium, Hg=mercury, Pb=lead (the marking can
be seen on the accumulators, e.g., underneath the refuse bin symbol shown on the
left).
You can return used rechargeable batteries free of charge to any collection facility in your local
authority, to our stores or to any other store where rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thereby fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
