Mounting and connection

Pay attention to the information in the "Preparation for mounting" section.
Ensure that no existing cables or pipes (including water pipes) are
damaged when drilling mounting holes or securing screws.
On a 5 mm mounting surface
• Cut holes in the mounting surface that correspond to the speaker dimensions on
the mounting template. The space behind the speakers should be large enough to
accommodate bends in the connection cables.
• Use the mounting template to mark the drill holes for the fixing screws.
• Drill the holes into the surface.
• Turn off the audio signal device (e.g. amplifier) that you are going to connect to the
speakers before connecting it.
• Connect the speaker inputs to the audio output on the amplifier
(red = positive connection;
Test the speakers as appropriate.
• Insert the speaker into the mounting surface.
• Secure the speaker to the mounting surface using suitable screws (included with
the product).

Maintenance and cleaning

Never use aggressive and abrasive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other
chemical solutions, as these could damage the casing or membrane or
even impair the functioning of the product.
• Disconnect the power supply from the amplifier to the product before cleaning.
• Use a soft, antistatic and lint-free cloth to clean the device.
• Do not immerse the product in water.
• Never point a garden hose or a pressure washer etc. at the product (e.g. for
cleaning)!
• Dust can be easily removed using a clean and soft brush.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to the
relevant statutory regulations.
You thus fulfil your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the
environment.
