However, the total output set for all of the loudspeakers must not exceed the maxi-
mum output of the 100 V ELA amplifier.
Installation
Do not place your ELA built-in speaker in the direct vicinity of screens such as TV
sets or computer monitors. The magnetic field from the loudspeaker might distort the
image on such devices.
Make sure that the mounting structure is capable of supporting the speaker's weight.
The loudspeaker must be fixed firmly to prevent it from falling and, thus, to avoid the
risk of injuries.
• Make sure that the mounting location has the necessary depth.
• Mark out the mounting hole using the installation template supplied.
• Cut out the mounting hole.
• Turn the three mounting clamps clockwise until they reach the limit stop so that the speaker
fits into the mounting hole.
• Gently remove the speaker grille by levering it away from the frame with a small screwdriver
or a similar tool.
• Push the speaker through the mounting hole and tighten the three fixing screws on the edge
of the speaker frame. The mounting clamps are automatically turned outwards and secure
the speaker in place.
• Press the grille back into place on the speaker.
Care and cleaning
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol or other chemical solutions
since these could damage the housing or even impair operation.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth to clean the product.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste. Please dispose of the product, when it is no longer of use, according to the
current statutory requirements.
