Use the loudspeakers only in closed premises or protected outdoor locations. However, direct contact
with dampness or wetness must be avoided.
The loudspeakers can be stood up, laid down or fastened to the ceiling using the pro-
vided mounting brackets.
On the back panel, the loudspeakers are furnished with mount for a sus-
pension line.
It is also essential that the device is secured by means of a second safety
restraint, which is independent of the proper mounting supports, when it
is installed in an elevated position. If the main supports fail, no part of the
installation should be able to fall down.
Observe all the relevant regulations in your country when installing the
device.
Acceptance test (in case of industrial/public use):
Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (in-
cluding the electrical connections) must be checked by a specialist. An an-
nual check by a technical expert is required.
If you want to secure the loudspeakers on the wall using mounting brackets, proceed
in the specified order. With that, fasten the loudspeakers, using the enclosed screws,
to the mounting bracket.
If necessary, use dowels to screw tight the mounting bracket on the wall.
The dowels and screws have to be suitable for the mounting surface and be
able to bear the weight of the loudspeakers.
Use the mounting brackets as template and draw the mounting holes at the
location of the mounting site.
Use the slot when mounting the locking screw. The locking screw (item 7
wall mounting) may only be inserted through the slot of the mounting bracket
and screwed together after that.

• When installing in an elevated location, secure the de-
vice with an additional suitable safety restraint cable. The
safety restraint cable must be able to support the loud-
speaker in the event of a fault in the main support system.
There is a safety cable fixture to attach the safety cable on
the rear panel of the device.

The loudspeaker cables may not be pinched or damaged by sharp edges.
Connect the loudspeakers only to suitable loudspeaker outputs of audio
amplifiers.
Make sure that impedance and power rating specified in the technical data
match the connected amplifier's data. Otherwise, the speakers or the am-
plifier may be damaged.
The total impedance for the connected loudspeakers must not be less than
the minimum impedance for the amplifier.
The amplifier to which the loudspeakers are to be connected must be
switched off when you make the connections.
Route the loudspeaker cables so that they do not create a trip hazard for
people.
Connect the loudspeaker terminals on the rear of the boxes to the corresponding loud-
speaker outputs on the amplifier.

Maintenance and cleaning

The product is maintenance-free. The product contains no parts that require servic-
ing. Therefore, do not open it.
To clean the outside of the product, a dry or slightly moistened soft and clean cloth
is sufficient. Make sure the sensitive loudspeaker membranes do not get damaged,
when the protective grille is removed.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush.
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions, which may damage the casing or even impair operation.
Disposal
The product must not be disposed of in the household waste!
Dispose of the waste product in accordance with the applicable legal regu-
lations.
