Operation

a) Turning on and off
• Briefly press the on/off button (2) to turn on the product. An acoustic signal sounds.
If no paired device is nearby, the LED flashes alternately red and blue.
However, if a previously paired device is nearby, the connection is automatically made. The
blue LED flashes twice every 2 seconds when the connection is made.
• To turn off the product, briefly press the on/off button. You hear an acoustic signal and the
LED goes out.
b) Making a link (pairing)
• Activate Bluetooth on your device.
• Turn on the speaker.
If the speaker is already turned on and you want to connect to another device, press and hold
the on/off button approx. 5 seconds until the LED starts flashing alternately red and blue. This
will disconnect any existing link.
• After a short time, "TWNT-BX05" will appear in the list of available Bluetooth devices on your
mobile phone. Select "TWNT-BX05".
If you are prompted to enter a password, enter 0000.
• As soon as the connection is successful, the blue LED flashes twice every 2 seconds.
With some mobile phones it may be necessary after the pairing process to confirm
the link between your mobile phone and the product.
This is normally necessary if you already have at least one other Bluetooth device
registered to the mobile phone or if the mobile phone is connected to another device
(such as a Bluetooth headset).
Only one Bluetooth device may be paired with the product at one time. Disconnect
any active Bluetooth links before pairing with another Bluetooth device.
The link will disconnect if the product or paired Bluetooth device is turned off
or removed from range. When the respective device is turned back on or when
the Bluetooth device comes back into range of the product, the connection is
automatically restored.
To enable this automatic reconnection, this function may need to be activated on
the Bluetooth device (please inform yourself on this point in the instructions for your
Bluetooth device).
c) Making a call
• While making a call, ensure that the microphone (7) is pointing at you and not covered.
• To answer an incoming call, press the phone button (4).
• To reject an incoming call, press and hold the phone button approx. 2 seconds.
• To call someone, select as usual the number on your mobile phone.
• To end a call, press the phone button.
• Redial: Press the phone button twice in quick succession (double click) to redial the last
number dialled.
To use this feature, you must enable redialling on your mobile phone.
d) Audio input
• You can connect a playback device (e.g. MP3 player) to the audio input (1) to output its signal
through the speaker.
• Connect the audio input of the speaker to the headphone output on your playback device via
the included audio cable.

• Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these may
damage the casing or cause the product to malfunction.
