HFD guides you automatically through some extended functions.
If you are not sure what commands to use in certain menu, say
loud voice command „What can I say" and HFD will display all valid
commands.

HFD features the mode „Speaker adaptaion" to help user get used
to the accent and dialect => Settings, Voice dial, page 52.
Talk after the signal tone, always towards the microphone. When
entering oral commands, pay attention to uniform speech pace and
loud speaking.
Ideal understandability of commands depends on
multiple factors:
Speak on normal voice intensity, avoid an accent and
excessive pauses.
Avoid wrong pronounciation.
Close the doors, windows and roof window to prevent
disturbing ambient noises from affecting HFD.
If the speed is higher, we recommend that you speak
louder to avoid the command being drowned by in-
creased ambient noise level.
When using the voice control, reduce secondary
sounds in the car, e.g. simultaneosly talking passen-
gers.
When using the voice control, put down the volume of
devices independent on HFD (e.g. navigation system or
traffic information broadcasting).
Do not speak when HFD gives some instruction.

Activation and deactivation of voice control

The screen displays a menu of voice commends and HFD displays
„Main menu".
Voice control can be activated via voice command „Activate voice
control". Before that, "magic word" has to be activated in the menu:

Voice control deactivation - voice command „Cancel"
HFD displays „Cancelled" and switches to the main menu.
If the touch screen is touched at any spot, current operation of
voice control interrupts, and HFD switches to the main menu.
If voice command is pending, HFD displays „How please" and, after
a short break, displays a list of all possible commands. If no verbal
command is expressed for a longer time interval, HFD displays
„Operation cancelled", deactivates voice control and switches to the
main menu.

Voice commands

Voice commands are divided in different menus, and some com-
mands are only available in certain menus. When the „What can I
say" voice commands is expressed, HFD displays a list of possible
commands.
Voice commands include also numbers „Zero" to „Nine". High-vol-
ume figures must be said out one by one - e.g. 10 - „One Zero".
