to mode Hold . Relevant active participant is identified on the
screen.
Using the icon >>> during the phone call gets you in the menu
with extended functions => Conference calls, page 47.

Conference calls

HFD offers an option of combining up to seven calls into confer-
ence. It means that all participants can speak simultaneously.
To put phone calls through in conference press >>>
receive another call during the conference you can put it through
in the conference, or switch between the conference and the call
participant.
Using the icon >>> during the phone call gets you in the menu
with the following functions:
Merge
Puts phone calls through in conference.
Keypad
Induces touch keypad for reproduction of DTMF tones (Dual Tone
Multi Frequency). The DTMF tones are used e.g. to call up an email
page or voice mail.
Private mode
The HFD function deactivates; phone call can be continued via
mobile phone. Active function displays.
Mute
The HFD microphone turns off, e.g. when passengers are asked.
Active function displays.
Hold
Switches active phone call over in waiting loop.
Swap
Switches between call put on hold and active phone call.
Store memo
Activates memo recording.
Merge . If you
Reject active
Ends current phone call.
Reject held
Ends waiting phone call.
Functional ranges for interrupting may very depending
on the type of mobile network and mobile phone.

Voice control

HFD can be controlled by voice using voice commands. This chapter
describes most important functions that you can use to control
HFD.
Voice control is available in the full extent only when user data of
connected mobile phone are completely transferred.
