Steam ironing using the blower function

Turn the appliance switch to blower position.
Specific use of blower function:
Highly sensitive fabrics, silk blouses, pleats
(tucks), frills, dinner jackets with lining.

Ensures crease-free ironing of highly sensi-
tive fabrics and clothes on an air cushion.

Takes care of fine clothes.

Dry ironing

The ventilator functions can also be switched off
(on/ off switch to position 0) when you want to dry
iron.

Finish operation

Switch off the steam cleaner and the ironing
table (on/ off switch to position 0).
Pull out the power cord of the steam cleaner
and the ironing table from the sockets.
Shut down the steam cleaner according to
the instructions given in the manual and
store it.

Fold up the cable holder before you put away
the ironing table.
Storing the ironing table

Hold the ironing table with both the hands,
raise it briefly and fold it together using the
operating lever.

Wind the power cord of the ironing table
around the feet and rest taking large radii;
press in the power cord in the recess provid-
ed for the same in the holder.
Note: Winding the power cord is simultane-
ously a safety mechanism against accidental
unfolding of the ironing table.

The ironing table can be stored in a folded
state (the iron rest is on the top). Stow away
the ironing table in a safe manner to ensure
that it does not tilt and fall! The transport
safety lock allows you to fix the underframe
in a folded state.

Maintenance and care

Cleaning the ironing table
Clean only when the power cord has been pulled
out, the iron and steam cleaner have cooled
down!
Wipe off the ironing table and the surfaces
using a soft, moist cloth. Do not use any de-
tergents!
Changing the cover of the ironing table
The transparency of the special ironing table cov-
er reduces on account of the ironing pressure
and absorption of dust particles - this in turn re-
duces the performance of the ironing table.
The ironing table cover should be changed
depending on the frequency of use (howev-
er, at least once a year).

dealer or the nearest authorised Customer Serv-
ice Centre.
Warranty
The terms of the guarantee that is applicable in
each country have been published by our re-
spective national distributors. Any fault that oc-
curs with your appliance during the guarantee
period will be repaired free of charge, provided
that it has been caused by a material or manufac-
turing defect. Guarantee claims should be ad-
dressed to your dealer or the nearest authorized
customer service depot, and supported by docu-
mentary evidence of purchase.
Disposal of Appliances
Old appliances contain valuable materi-
als that can be recycled. Please arrange
for the proper recycling of old appliances.
Please dispose your old appliances using appro-
priate collection systems.
When the appliance is to be disposed off, please
ensure that you first put it out of use (say, by cut-
ting off the power cord and the plug).
