Using the left/right arrow keys of the control cross (S) select the green tick for
„YES" or the red cross for „NO" and confirm your selection by pressing the
„SET" (H) key.
• Using the right/left arrow keys of the control cross (S) select the „EXIT" option and confirm your
selection by pressing the „SET" (H) key in order to leave the management menu.
Leave playback mode
• Press the „PLAYBACK" (Q) key in playback mode.

11. Internal battery

There is a button cell integrated into the colour quad processor. It serves the purpose of data preservation
in the case of a power cut.
The battery has normally a life of 5-10 years.
If you notice that after a power cut that, eg the settings for the detection area of the four inputs are lost
and also the time, this means the battery has to be replaced by a new one.
The internal battery is installed as fixed. Only allow a specialist or a specialist
workshop with the respective equipment replace the battery. Improper handling
can damage the battery fixation as well as the 4-channel digital recorder.
Disconnect the 4-channel digital recorder before replacing the battery from all connected devices and
cables, unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket.
Proceed as follows to replace the batteries:
• Disconnect the 4-channel digital recorder from all connections and cables (remember the position/arran-
gement, if necessary take notes), unplug the mains adapter from the mains socket.
• Open the housing of the 4-channel digital recorder. The rubber feet must first be removed from the
bottom of the housing. Then remove the 4 screws with a suitable screwdriver.
• Carefully take off the housing lid.
Do not straighten out any components, do not touch the integrated circuits and their
connection pins.
• The battery slot with the „325" header can be found on the circuit board.
• Now remove the battery. To this end, the top and the bottom weld pin must be carefully removed from
the battery.
• Insert the new button cell „325" type with the correct polarity. The plus pole has to be visible for you
from the top.
