10. Operation

After switching on, the 4-channel digital recorder is in display mode (see Section 10a).
You can switch to the settings mode (see Section 10b) by pressing the „MENU" (G) key.
a) Display mode
Symbols are displayed in display mode for the
following status (from left to right):
• SD card
• Motion detect enabled
• Recording format
• The number of the video input selected
• Date
• Time
Explanation of monitor symbols
This symbol is displayed as soon as an SD card is in the SD card slot.
This symbol is displayed if the „Motion detect on" option was selected in the settings
mode (see Section 10b).
This symbol is displayed if the „Capture AVI format" option was selected in the settings
mode (see Section 10b).
This symbol is displayed if the „Capture PHOTO format" option was selected in the
settings mode (see Section 10b).
