6. Assembly

Ensure during assembly that the alarm centre is free of voltage and current.
When drilling, make sure that you do not accidentally damage power, gas or water lines!

6.1 Alarm System Installation Site

For the alarm system installation site, ensure that the alarm system can be reached before the trigger delay
is over so that it can be deactivated.
Depending on installation site, additional securing of the assembly site by a detector (e.g. motion detector)
may be suitable.
When selecting the installation site for your system, observe that direct intense sunlight, vibration, dust,
heat, cold and moisture must be avoided.

6.2 Additional Advice before Mounting

Before actual installation of the alarm system and its components, draw up a plan using a floorplan of the
object to be monitored to determine implementation of the best individual way to secure your object. Draw
in the detectors for the doors, windows, rooms, etc. to be secured accordingly.
Observe the features (e.g. recording angle of a motion detector) of the individual detectors. The sketch
also helps to estimate the required material (e.g. length and number of wires of cables, number of motion
detectors, door/window detectors, etc.).
Also observe the alarm system characteristics. The alarm system has so-called alarm zones for its inputs
to connect the individual sensors to. The alarm looks have different functions.
The alarm zone functions are explained in chapter "7. Installation". We recommend reading the
different alarm zone functions completely before installation.
