14. Automatic Battery Test

The system tests the connected lead battery every 24 hours. The test lasts between 5 seconds and 2 mi-
nutes, depending on battery charge state. Visual and acoustic signals are triggered (see chapter 14) if the
test is negative.

14.1 Manual Battery Test

The battery test can be started manually by pressing the key switch shortly once with the alarm system in
standby mode.
To get to standby mode, press the key switch for 5 seconds (ignore the two beeps).
The system can only be put in standby mode when deactivated.
If a manual battery test is performed, the next automatic battery test will take place 24 hours
after the manual battery test was performed.
A battery test cannot be performed during alarm or if the operating voltage is lost.
The battery test is interrupted in case of alarm or loss of operating voltage.

15. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regularly verify technical safety of your system, e.g. for damage to the connection cables and casing.
Power down the alarm system before cleaning it.
Use a clean, soft and dry cloth for cleaning.
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents. They may cause discolouration of the casing.

16. Disposal

Electrical and electronic products must not be disposed of in the household waste.
Dispose of the product according to the applicable statutory provisions at the end of its service
life.
