2. Intended Use

The programmable roller shutter control allows you to install optically unobtrusive radio
controls for electrically operated roller shutter, awning and curtains.
The control is contained in a compact inset 'flush mounted' housing and can be controlled by
FS20 system transmitters including all central button controls as well as via directly connectable
button controls.
As the device has memory available for four different FS20 addresses, it is possible to control
the unit from several FS20 transmitters. This means that roller shutter switch using a time
control, i.e. from a control centre or the "FS20 ZE", as well as from a remote control, a light
sensor or similar. In addition to manual and/or time or event controlled switching functions
there is a programmable timer function which allows the drive activation time to be set.
Any programmed data is stored on internal EEPROM memory permanently and no data loss
will occur (even during a blackout).
These control and installation instructions pertain solely to connection of the control to
commercially available roller shutter / awning electronics.
Any use other than the one described above will damage the product. Moreover, this involves
dangers such as short-circuits, fire, electric shock, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or converted.

operation; it contains important information specific to the correct use of
the device.
