Acceptance test (in case of industrial/public use):
Before first use and after any significant modifications, the installation (including the electrical
connections) must be inspected by an official expert.
A yearly inspection by an expert is required.
At least every 4 years, an acceptance test must be carried out by an expert.
• Set up the device under observation of the above safety notes.
• Alternatively, the device can also be attached with the mounting bracket.
• Always observe horizontal setup for this.

9. Connection

a) Connection of the Wire-Bound Remote Control
• Install the connection cable for the remote control up to the site from which you are going to control the
device.
• The rear of the remote control is magnetic. The remote control thus sticks to metal objects.
• Plug the plug of the wire-bound remote control into the WIRE CONTROLLER (4) port of the fog machine.
b) Connection of a DMX Controller
Only connect the device to a DMX controller with a DMX-512 protocol.
• Connect the port DMX 512 IN (2) with the output of the DMX controller.
• Use a screened XLR cable for this. The controller must have 2 free control channels.
• Connect DMX 512 OUT with the DMX input of the subsequent device (if present).
• If the fog machine is the last or the only device in the DMX chain, insert a plug with a 120 ohm/0.25 W
terminating resistor into the DMX 512 OUT (3) socket (between Pin2 and Pin3).
