• Use the RUN MODE/SWAP (7) button to select the menu item FADER CHANL.
• The display (12) shows the selected control channel of the DMX controller on top (e.g. 1/R) and the assi-
gned DMX channel of the effect light (e.g. 01) at the bottom.
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to set the control channel of the DMX controller and the dial switch TILT (13)
to set the corresponding DMX channel of the effect light.
• Push the REC/ENTER button (4) to save the settings. All LEDs will flash briefly to display successful sto-
rage.
• Repeat the process described for further assignments.
• If you want to delete the assignment of a channel, set it as described above and push the button
BLACK OUT/DEL (6). All LEDs will flash briefly to display deletion. The DMX channel display shows NULL
after deletion.
• After you have made all changes, push the MENUS/ESC (5) button for approx. two seconds to leave the
menu.
Example:
The movement of a moving head is controlled with the DMX channels 1 and 2 (this is evident from the
instructions of the moving head).
The DMX channel 1 of the moving head is to be assigned to the dial switch PAN (11) and the
DMX channel 2 of the moving head to dial switch TILT (13).
• Push the MENUS/ESC (5) button for approx. two seconds.
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to select menu item „01 Patch fixture".
• Push the REC/ENTER (4) button; the display (12) shows PLEASE SELECT FIXTURE.
• Select the moving head with the selection buttons 1-16 (9).
• Use the RUN MODE/SWAP (7) button to select the menu item FADER CHANL.
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to set the control channel PAN and the dial switch TILT (13) to set the
DMX channel 01.
• Push the REC/ENTER button (4) to save the settings. All LEDs will flash briefly to display successful sto-
rage.
• Use the dial switch PAN (11) to set the control channel TILT and the dial switch TILT (13) to set the
DMX channel 02.
• Push the REC/ENTER button (4) to save the settings. All LEDs will flash briefly to display successful sto-
rage.
• Push the MENUS/ESC (5) button for approx. two seconds to leave the menu again.
Once you have assigned the DMX channels 1 and 2 of your moving head to the dial switches
PAN and TILT as described above, you can also assign the other channels to the channels of
the DMX controller as described above (e.g. DMX channel 3 can be assigned to channel fader 1,
DMX channel 4 to channel fader 2, etc.).
