8.4 HOW TO REPLACE THE VACUUM SYSTEM
MOTOR (TAV.G)
This is a service operation which needs to be performed
by qualified service people in case of failure of the
vacuum system motor.
DISCONNECT the Cyclone from main power
o
supply by turning the main switch (U) [TAV.D-
Fig.2] into "0" position and disconnect the
plug of the power cord from main power supply
Open rear back doors of the Cyclone
o
Remove plastic waste bag from its position
o
Remove trolley by releasing the two metal
o
fixing pins
Remove metal cover by loosing the 4 fixing
o
screws
It is now possible to access to the electrical motor.
Disconnect two wires of the electrical motor
o
from connector
Loose and remove the 4 screws fixing the
o
motor to the machine
Remove the vacuum system motor from its
o
position
Replace vacuum system motor with the new
o
motor by using the same fixing plate
The machine can now be re-assembled by
o
following the above steps backward.
Vacuum System motor has an operating lifetime of
700-1000 hours.
9. ACCESSORIES
9.1 SCREENS
The KOBRA Cyclone is delivered with a 30 mm holes
standard screen unless specifically ordered with a
different screen.
It is possible anyway to change the screen on the
Cyclone whenever a different shredding need arise
(higher security/bulk reduction degree or higher
shredding output).

9.2 PLASTIC WASTE BAG
( Part number 51.221)
KOBRA Cyclone is delivered with 10 plastic waste
bags.
Additional original plastic waste bags packed in sets of
10 bags each can be purchased.
The Cyclone should be operated with original plastic
waste bags only.
The original plastic waste bag has been designed and
tested to offer the best performances and to withstand
the turbine pressure during intensive shredding
operations as well as to withstand the centrifugal forces
and the friction of the shredded material.
9.3 FILTER BAG
(Part number 51.225)
KOBRA Cyclone is delivered with 3 filter bags which
collect the shredding dust.
Additional original filter bags packed in sets of 10 bags
each can be purchased.
The Cyclone should be operated with original filter bags
only.
The original filter bag has been designed and tested to
offer the best performances and to collect the maximum
quantity of dust with the highest efficiency and sucking
action.
Filter bag should be replaced every 20/25 plastic waste
bags of shredded material.
Check filter bag level before replacing filter bag.
