tentional operation. It is to be assumed that safe operation is
no longer possible, if
- the device shows visible signs of damage,
- the device no longer functions and
- after prolonged storage under unfavourable conditions or
- after severe transportation stress.
• Never switch the measuring device on immediately after it has
been brought from a cold into a warm area. The resulting con-
densation water could damage your device. Allow the device
to come to roomtemperature before switching it on.

5.1 Settings
Before the panelmeter is installed, the decimal point and the
measuring unit must be set, depending on currentmeasuringra
range. In the event of later changes, the panelmeter must always
be switched free or isolated from the measuring and supply cir-
cuit first of all. To set the decimal point, the procedure is as fol-
lows:
a) Open the panel housing by carefully unscrewing the four
fixing screws with a suitable crossheadscrew driver.
b) Remove the rear housing shell.
c) The measuring board is now exposed. Remove this from the
mounting (pin socket at the front)
d) The jumpers are now accessible. In the following tables the
"pin contact pairs" are shown from left to right.
e) In order to set the decimal point, observe the following
table:
