1. Intended use
• Measurement of direct currents of 200 uA up to max. 2 A
(depending on range setting). The voltage present in the circuit
must not in any event exceed 400 VACrms (alternating voltage)
or 500 VDC (direct voltage).
• The panelmeter must not be operated without being installed
in an appropriate housing, switchboard, tableau or similar.
• Measurement in damp areas, outside, or in unfavourable envi-
ronmental conditions, is not permitted.
2
Unfavourable environmental conditions include:
- wetness or excessive air humidity,
- dust and combustible gases, vapours or solvents,
- strong vibrations,
- strong magnetic fields, as in the vicinity of machines
or loudspeakers,
- static electricity (fields and discharges).
Any use other than the one described above can lead to damage
to the product, and can also cause hazards, such as, for example,
short-circuit, fire, electric shock, etc.. No part of the product must
be modified or converted! The safety information must be observed!

2. Introduction
The DC current module is a 3-
simple measuring tasks. Despite its small dimensions it is very
accurate and robust. It is intended to be used as a built-in instru-
ment in devices, switchboards (tableau) etc. (e.g. mains devices).
It can also be used as an independent ampmeter (in a housing!
Observe safety regulations!) up to max.2 A, at a circuit voltage of
not more than 400 VACrms or 500 VDC 400. Polarity display, e.g.
with negative measurement signals, as well as zero balance (off
set) occur automatically.
Both the decimal point and the measurement unit "mA" or "A"
can be set via corresponding settings inside the panelmeter.
3. Safety information
• The DC current module is EMC and safety tested (CE) and the-
refore fulfils EMC guideline 89/336/EEC and the lowvol tage
guideline 73/23/EEC.
• This unit is manufactured in accordance with VDE 0411 = IEC
1010 and left the factory in technically perfect condition with
