When the decimal point has been set, the unit of measure-
ment must be set. Note the following table:

Where: "-" = not used; "0" = no jumper; "S" = jumper, i.e. two
pins bridged
g) When the max. measuring current is fixed and the required
jumpers (jumper at JP2) are "set", assemble the panelmeter
(insert measuring board, position housing shell, screw in the
fixing screws, tighten carefully).
h) The tag block on the rear of the panelmeter is marked with
the different current measuring ranges. Also note the de-
scription of the soldering point position under "4. Operating
elements".
Attention!
Incorrect adjustment of the settings can lead to misreadings or
damage(s) to the panelmeter. In addition, danger to life may be
caused by touching supposedly low voltages.
5.2 Installation
The installation dimensions comply with DIN 43700, Type 2. The
panelmeter is supplied in partially disassembled condition. To
install, proceed as follows:

a) Mount the panelmeter in the housing or tableau or control
cabinet recess so that the display is legible. When the panel-
meter is fitted into the housing recess (not too much
play/slippage), position the fixing bars laterally ways onto
the panelmeter (sliding guide) and secure the bars with one
knurled nut each.
b) After fixing in the housing compartment (tableau or control
cabinet or similar) connect the voltage-free supply cable with
the correct polarity ("+" and "-" must be observed) to the
panelmeter at "GND" = "-" and at "9V" = "+" (by soldering
on).
c) Then connect the voltage-free instrument lead with the cor-
rect polarity ("+" and "-" must be observed) at "COM" =
"-" and at the appropriate soldering eye of the selected cur-
rent measuring range, "2A" or "200 mA" or "20 mA" or
"2 mA" or "200 uA "= "+" (likewise by soldering). You must
ensure that the current module is connected in series to the
test object . Also note the following figures:

d) When the connections have been made, check the soldering
points ("cold" soldering points, cable partings, short-circuits
in adjacent strip conductors).
