Use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
The polar laser serves to generate laser and LED light effects.
This product has a power supply in form of a built-in rechargeable battery. This may only be
charged through the attached power adaptor or a standardised USB connection.
The safety regulations and standards for laser operation must be complied with at all times.
The product may only be used indoors, never outdoors. Contact with moisture, for example in
bathrooms, must be avoided.
Any other use than that described above is not permitted and involves additional risks, such as
injuries to the eyes, short circuits and fire.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume liability for any resulting damage.
Nor do we assume liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. The warranty will
be void in such cases.
The exclamation mark symbol indicates important information in these oper-
ating instructions. Prior to starting up the product, read the operating instruc-
tions entirely; they contain important information on the correct operation.
• Starting and operating the product should only be done considering the requirements men-
tioned in this manual.
• For safety and approval (CE) reasons, unauthorised conversions and/or modifications to the
product are not permitted.
• Only the attached power adaptor or a standardised USB connection may be used as power
supply unit to charge the built-in rechargeable battery.
• Only a proper mains socket connected to the public power supply network may be used as power
supply unit for the power adaptor. Before plugging in the power adaptor, check whether the
voltage stated on the power adaptor complies with the voltage of your electricity supplier.
• Never connect or disconnect power adaptors if your hands are wet.
• Never unplug the power unit from the mains socket by pulling on the cable, always use the
grips on the plug.
• For safety reasons, disconnect the power unit from the mains socket during electrical storms.
• Adjustments or maintenance should only be carried out by trained professionals who are aware
of the dangers. Improperly executed adjustments may cause dangerous laser radiation.
• When operating the laser equipment, always make sure that the laser beam is directed so that
no person is in the projection area and that unintentionally reflected beams (e.g. from mirrors
or other reflective objects) cannot be directed into areas where people are present.
• Laser radiation can be dangerous, if the laser beam or reflection enters unprotected eyes.
Therefore, before using the laser equipment, familiarise yourself with the statutory regulations
and instructions for operating such a laser device.
• Never look into the laser beam and never point it at people or animals. Laser radiation may
result in injuries to the eyes or skin.
• Operate the laser only in a monitored area.
• Wherever possible, direct the laser in such a way that it does not cross eye level.
• Caution - If operating devices other than those mentioned herein or if other procedures
are used, this can result in a dangerous beam being exposed.
• The product is equipped with a class 2 laser. Laser signs in different languages are included
in the delivery. If the sign on the laser is not written in the language of your country, please fix
the appropriate sign on to the laser.
• Never look directly into the laser beam when the device is in operation. The intense light rays
could temporarily impair your eyesight. Moreover, they may trigger epileptic seizures for
vulnerable persons. This applies in particular to epileptics.
• The device is not a toy. Children and adolescents cannot judge the dangers of electrical
devices and lasers.
• Inspect the laser unit from time to time for damage. Should the laser unit or the power adaptor
show any damage, disconnect the product from the power supply (unplug power adaptor) and
turn it off. Do not use the product afterwards; instead, take it to a specialist workshop.
• Never pour liquids on to electrical devices, and never place any objects containing liquids
(such as vases) on top of them or near them. You run the risk of causing a fire or a fatal elec-
tric shock. If liquid does enter the device, immediately disconnect it from the power supply, and
consult an expert.
• Do not expose the device to high temperatures, dripping or sprayed water, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical stress.

• Do not place open flames, such as burning candles, on or close to the device.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. It may become a dangerous plaything for children.

• Do not leave the device in operation when it is unattended. For security reasons, disconnect
the plug from the mains after each operation.
• Do not use the device in a tropical climate.
• If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly, or should any questions arise that are
not answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory service or
another specialist.
