Initial operation
• Secure the installation with an additional suitable safety restraint cable or net. The safety restraint cable or net
must be able to support the light effect device in the event of a fault in the main support system.
• Set the desired angle of inclination and tighten the bracket locking screws well.

Inserting/replacing the illuminant

Before replacing the illuminant, always disconnect the device from its power supply (pull the
mains plug out of the socket!).
Illuminants which are switched on become very hot!. To avoid burning, allow the illuminant to
cool down for at least 20 minutes before you replace it!
Never use illuminants with a greater output than stated in the technical data as the effect
beamer could be overloaded. This can lead to fire, shorts or other risks for the user.
An illuminant must be replaced if it is damaged or has been deformed due to heating.
• Remove the screw on the bottom casing cover and pull the cover out of its groove in the casing.
• Pull out the defect illuminant from the restraint clamp and separate it from the socket.
• Insert the new illuminant into the mounting and snap the retainer clip into place.
• Slide the cover into the groove on the casing and reattach it with the support screw.
Never touch the illuminant with bare hands. The oil on the skin reduces the service life of the glass body
when heated.

Mains connection

The mains outlets to which the effect beamer is connected must be easily accessible to quickly
separate the device from the mains voltage in case of an error.
Do not let the mains cable come into contact with other cables.
Be careful when handling the mains cables and main connectors. Mains voltage can give severe
electric shocks, which can be fatal.
Do not leave the cables trailing free; route them in an orderly and professional way to prevent
accidents.
• Plug the power plug of the power supply cable into a socket with earthing contact.
• As soon as the effect beamer is connected to the power supply network, it takes up operation.
