Troubleshooting

By purchasing this system you have acquired a product that has been designed to the state of the art
and is operationally reliable. Problems and malfunctions may, however, still arise.
We would therefore like to describe how you can eliminate certain malfunctions yourself.
Always adhere to the safety instructions.
No sound is audible
• The mute button has been pressed.
• Volume is set to minimum.
The CD fails to play:
• CD has not been set in the tray in properly
• The CD is dirty.
• The CD placed in the tray is not an audio or MP3-CD.
The CD jumps during playback:
• The CD is dirty.
• The CD is scratched
• The CD has a press defect
• During playback, the device is subjected to vibrations.
• The MP3-CD hasn't been correctly described.
• The MP3 files has to high a bit rate.
One channel does not work:
• A connection cable has come off.
ID3 text display does not work
• The ID3 text mode has not been activated.
• The CD/data carrier does not contain any ID3 text information.
The device no longer reacts to input:
• Unplug the audio centre at the mains and plug it back it.
Repairs other than those just described should only be performed by an autho-
rised specialist.
