• After first insertion of the batteries, disregard the weather forecasts for the first 12 to 24 hours,
because the weather station first has to collect barometric pressure data in this period at a
constant height to make a more exact forecast.
• If the weather station is taken to a site at a much higher or lower altitude than the original one
(e.g. from the ground floor to an upper floor of a house), the weather station may consider
this barometric pressure change to be a weather change.
Setting the Current Weather
For the weather station to be ale to best calculate a weather forecast based on the current
weather, set the current weather from time to time.
Proceed as follows:
• Hold down the „WEATHER" button (B8) for three seconds until the sound signal is issued
and the icons for the weather forecast flash.
• Set the current weather with the button „+" (B4) or „-" (B5).
• Push the button „WEATHER" (B8) briefly to confirm. This saves all settings and leave the
setting mode (alternatively, wait for a few seconds without pushing a button).
The current weather should also be set again when the altitude of the site of setup
of the weather station changes (e.g. if you take it along to holidays).
Weather icon at outdoor temperatures < 0 °C
If the outdoor sensor measures a temperature of < 0 °C, the figure of the weather forecast
shows snow icons in case of precipitation.
Frost warning
If the outdoor sensor measures a temperature between -2 °C and +3 °C, an icon for
frost warning appears to the right of the outdoor temperature; see figure on the right.
