8. INSTALLATION

The device can be table or wall-mounted.
If you place the device on an even surface, use the removable housing part on the back for improving the
vertical stability.
Mounting the device on a wall:
• Bore a hole (diameter 6 mm, depth 28 mm) in the wall. Ensure prevention of damage to electric cables or
lines in the wall.
• Insert a dowel into the bored hole.
• Turn a screw into the dowel. Do not screw it in completely, but allow a small gap between screw head and
dowel.
• Attach the device to the screw via the opening
The VOC reading of the HygroCube 100 is based on a chemical reaction in the sensor housing.
Therefore, place the HygroCube at a well-ventilated place to obtain plausible readings.
9. INSERTING / REPLACING BATTERIES
The device is operated with two AA batteries.
Remove the cover of the battery compartment (14) on the rear side of the device. Use a small, flat tool, if
required.
Insert two AA batteries, paying attention to the correct polarity.
The device switches to the date / time setting mode as soon as the batteries were correctly inserted.
Replace the cover on the battery compartment.
The battery charge level indicator (2) indicates the battery charge left. Replace the batteries if the battery
charge level is low.
