12. ALARM SIGNAL

The HygroCube can issue both optical and acoustic alarms.
The alarm signal is activated as soon as the device detects that the set limit has been exceeded.
In the case of alarm, the exceeded value is also signalled by flashing of the exceeded alarm value on the
display.
Activating / deactivating the alarm
Keep the following button pressed for about 3 seconds to activate / deactivate the alarm
"-" (13) BEEP
"+" (12) LED
The corresponding alarm is indicated on the dispay and the current status marked by means of "ON" or
"OFF". By pressing the relevant button again, you can deactivate / activate this alarm now.
The menu will be automatically closed after 3 seconds
Display for the probability of mould formation, ventilation and heating recommendations
The mould indicator (7) indicates the risk of mould formation. Here, the dew point is calculated based on the
temperature and humidity readings. This is a clear indication of the indoor air's tendency to mould formation.
In addition, recommendations on improving the current indoor climate are indicated either by the heating
symbol (1) or the ventilation symbol (5).
The display field offers 5 different mould levels, wherein level I stands for optimum indoor climate and level V
for a very high risk of mould formation.
