Before switching the device on, check the device for externally visible damage and ensure that the

protective equipment functions properly.
Check the airways of the fan for foreign bodies and remove any found.

Apply the nominal voltage for supply.

Start the device.

Troubleshooting and maintenance may only be carried out by a trained electrician, or trained and

instructed specialist personnel!
Observe the work protection regulations when troubleshooting!

Observe the 5 rules of electrical safety (see section 2.5)!

Switch the fan off.

Disconnect the device from the power supply.

When disconnecting, make sure to remove the earth wire last!

The power supply has been switched off (all-pole circuit breaker).

The rotor is at a standstill.
