Die Einhaltung der nachfolgenden Vorgaben dient auch der
Sicherheit des Produktes. Sollten die angegebenen Hinweise
insbesondere zur generellen Sicherheit, Transport, Lagerung,
Montage, Betriebsbedingungen, Inbetriebnahme, Instandhal-
tung, Wartung, Reinigung und Entsorgung / Recycling nicht
beachtet werden, kann das Produkt eventuell nicht sicher
betrieben werden und kann eine Gefahr für Leib und Leben
der Benutzer und dritter Personen darstellen.
Abweichungen von den nachfolgenden Vorgaben können
daher sowohl zum Verlust der gesetzlichen Sachmängelhaf-
tungsrechte führen als auch zu einer Haftung des Käufers für
das durch die Abweichung von den Vorgaben unsicher
gewordene Produkt.
Anwendung
Systemair Axialventilatoren der Baureihen AR und AW
(Typenbezeichnung siehe Typenschild) mit integriertem
Außenläufer-Asynchronmotor sind keine gebrauchsfer-
tigen Produkte, sondern als Komponenten für Klima-, Be- und
Entlüftungsanlagen konzipiert. Eine spezielle Motorausle-
gung ermöglicht die Drehzahlsteuerung durch Spannungsab-
senkung. Bei Betrieb an Frequenzumrichtern beachten Sie
die Hinweise im Abschnitt Betriebsbedingungen.
Die Ventilatoren dürfen erst betrieben werden, wenn
sie ihrer Bestimmung entsprechend eingebaut sind
und die Sicherheit durch Schutzeinrichtungen nach
DIN EN ISO 13857 (DIN EN ISO 12100) oder sonstige
bauliche Schutzmaßnahmen sichergestellt ist.
Sicherheitshinweise
Die Ventilatoren sind zur Förderung von Luft oder luftähn-

lichen Gemischen bestimmt. Der Einsatz in explosionsge-
fährdeten Bereichen zur Förderung von Gas, Nebel,
Dämpfen oder deren Gemisch ist nicht zulässig. Die
Förderung von Feststoffen oder Feststoffanteilen im
Fördermedium ist ebenfalls nicht zulässig.
• Bei Einsatz des Motors/Ventilators in Anwendungen, bei
denen sich im Fehlerfall z. B. durch eine Leckage eine
zündfähige Atmosphäre bilden kann, muss der Verwender
die Risiken einer Entzündung bewerten und entspre-
chende Vorkehrungen treffen, um eine Entzündung auszu-
schließen.
Montage, elektrischen Anschluss und Inbetriebnahme nur

von ausgebildetem Fachpersonal (Definition nach DIN EN
50 110, IEC 364) vornehmen lassen.
Betreiben Sie den Ventilator nur in den auf dem Typen-

schild angegebenen Bereichen und nur für die, laut Ihrer
Bestellung, bestimmungsgemäßen Anwendung.

Compliance with the following instructions is mandatory to
ensure the functionality and safety of the product. If the
following instructions given especially but not limited for
general safety, transport, storage, mounting, operating condi-
tions, start-up, maintenance, repair, cleaning and disposal /
recycling are not observed, the product may not operate
safely and may cause a hazard to the life and limb of users
and third parties.
Deviations from the following requirements may therefore
lead both to the loss of the statutory material defect liability
rights and to the liability of the buyer for the product that has
become unsafe due to the deviation from the specifications.
Application
Systemair axial fans of the series AR and AW (type desig-
nation see rating plate) with integrated external rotor
asynchronous motor are not ready-to-use products, but
designed as components for air-conditioning, air supply and
air extraction. A special motor design makes the speed
control by voltage reduction possible. By operation with
frequency inverters see the notes in the section Operating
Conditions.
The fans may only be operated when they are
installed as intended, and when safety is ensured by
safety equipment according to DIN EN ISO 13857
(DIN EN ISO 12100) or by other protection measures.

The fans are intended for the transportation of air of
mixtures that are similar to air. Usage in potentially explo-
sive areas for the transportation of gas, mist, vapours or
their mixtures is not permissible. The transportation of
solid materials or similar materials in a transport media is
also not permissible.

If the motor/fan is used in applications where a ignitable
atmosphere can form in the event of a fault, e.g. due to
leakage, the user must assess the risks of ignition and
take appropriate precautions to prevent ignition.
•
Mounting, electrical connection and commissioning must
only be carried out by trained personnel (definition in DIN
EN 50 110 or IEC 364).
•
The fan is only to be operated within the ranges specified
on the type plate! Use the fan only in the authorised
fashion and only for the tasks and flow media specified in
the order!
