1) Open the zipper on the cover.
2) Remove the foam components as well as the inserts, if any.
Assembly (see fig. 5 – see fig. 10)
1) Pull the cover over the foam base with correct alignment.
2) Close the zip.
5.3 Cleaning
NOTICE
Improper cleaning of the wheelchair cushion
Risk of damage to cushion due to user error
Never wash the cover at a temperature higher than the recommended as this may cause it to

shrink. This could impede the cushion's ability to redistribute pressure or it could damage
the fabric.
► Do not use any bleaching agents for cleaning.
► Never dry the foam components or inserts in a dryer.

► Replace the cover when it shows signs of advanced wear.
► Should it be necessary to disinfect the cover, add a standard hygiene detergent during
washing (e.g. Sagrotan
In case of heavy incontinence, an additional incontinence barrier should be used. Please

observe the care and cleaning instructions for each incontinence barrier used.
The product should be cleaned monthly.
Cleaning the cloth cover
1) Unzip and remove the cover for separate washing.
2) Zip up the cover before washing.
3) The cover can be washed at 60 °C [140 °F] using a mild, environmentally friendly detergent.
Recommendation: wash the cover using the delicate cycle at 40 °C [104 °F] to prevent
excessive wear.
4) Allow to air dry. When using an automatic clothes dryer, select the delicate cycle at low tem­
perature.
Cleaning the foam pads
1) Hand wash all foam components in warm water at 40 °C [104 °F] using a standard mild deter­
gent. Do not use fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly.
INFORMATION: Do not use a brush or similar on the surface. Only dab lightly, do not
rub.
2) Allow to air dry. Do not expose to direct heat sources (e.g. sunlight, stove or radiator).
INFORMATION: In order to avoid mould forming, the foam pad must be completely dry
before putting it into the cover.
6 Maintenance
• Regular care extends the service life of the product.
• The manufacturer recommends inspecting all parts of the seat cushion during regular monthly
cleaning. Observe the following:
- Check the cover for rips, holes and other damage.
- Verify that the zipper is working properly.
- Inspect the foam for damage.
