The safety light curtain is not suitable for the following applications, among others:

Outdoors
•
Underwater
•
In explosion-hazardous areas
•
At altitudes over 3,000 m above sea level
•
In environments with enhanced ionizing radiation
A fuse rated maximum 2 A shall be installed in the isolated 24 V DC power supply cir‐
cuit to the device in order to limit the available current.
