The function REG ON prevents the radio from switching to alternative
frequencies which have a different regional programme content.
• REG OFF: Pressing the AF button again for a longer time switches off
the regional mode. The message "REG OFF" appears in the display for
a few seconds.
The programme identification (PI) of the regional programme is ignored
during the search for an alternative frequency (AF) or a programme
identification (PI).
22 SCAN T Button
Station Search during Radio Operation
Briefly press the SCAN button. Every available station in the frequency band
(e.g. FM1) is searched for automatically. When a station is found, the frequency
flashes for approximately 5 seconds in the display and the station is heard. The
search function is then continued.
Press the SCAN button a second time if you would like to continue listening to
the station you have just stored or press one of the station buttons to disconti-
nue searching.
23 CD Slit
24 Eject Button (EJECT)
Press this button to eject the CD.
25 Flashing LED
When the front control panel is removed this display flashes.
26 RESET Button
Press this button to reset the programme on which there is interference.
