Hand wash 20°C
X Fabrics made of hand washable wool or wool mixtures.
For drying handwash see next section «Wool 30°C»
Wool 30°C
X Machine washable fabrics made of wool or wool mix,
with wool mark label «non felting» or «Machine washa-
ble». If wool is not to be dried in a dryer after washing,
but in the air, spread the wool textiles loosely on a terry
towel and let them dry completely. When drying in a
dryer, please follow the dryer instructions.
For light soiled wool use the programme «Wool Express».
Delicates 40°C
X Especially sensitive fabrics made of cotton or mixed
fibres, synthetics
X Curtains, dresses, blouses, skirts
For light soiled delicate fabrics use the programme
«Delicates Express».
Silk 30°C
X Hand-washable fabrics which do not contain wool.
Fine stockings and bras should be washed in a laundry
bag.
Special programmes 2
Sportswear 30°C
This programme is also suitable for weather gear, sports
and leisure jackets as well as modern clothing made of
microfibre or with a high microfibre content, e.g. Gore-
Tex or SympaTex.
Pre-treatment: heavy stains e.g. fat, sun cream, lipstick
or cosmetics, require suitable pre-treatment.
For greasy stains, rub liquid gentle detergent directly
into the stain with your fingers.
Do not scrub - you could damage the fabric!
Leave to work for around 5 minutes and then wash the
items in the washing machine.
Only use a gentle detergent for GoreTex and SympaTex.
X If you use liquid detergent place the additional liquid
holder in chamber II of the detergent compartment or
add it to the laundry in a dosing ball.
Do not use fabric softener.
This can block the breathable membranes and prevent
successful subsequent impregnation.
Impregnating 30° C
This programme is suitable for the simple and efficient
impregnation of sports and leisure clothing, e.g. track-
suits, down jackets and winter clothing.
The special process ensures even and lasting impregna-
tion.

Microfibre fabrics, GoreTex and SympaTex
should only be treated with special impregnation products
designed for them. If ordinary impregnation products
are used, there is a risk that the breathable membranes
will be blocked.
Pre-treatment: the clothing to be impregnated must be
washed thoroughly first.
X Pull out the detergent drawer until it reaches the
stop. Place the additional liquid containers in sections I
and II of the detergent drawer.
X Add liquid detergent to section I with 160 ml spirit
vinegar - the vinegar is used to prepare the laundry for
impregnation.
X Fill the liquid container in section II of the drawer
with 320 ml of the impregnation product, or according
to the product manufacturer's instructions.
X Close the detergent drawer carefully. If the drawer is
closed too quickly it is possible that the impregnation
pro duct and the spirit vinegar will enter the washing
machine together. In this case, impregnation will be im-
possible.
X After impregnation in the washing machine, the
laundry shall be dried completely at the maximum ad-
missible temperature for the respective textiles. This
enhances the impregnating effect.
Curtains 40° C
X Mixed fibre fabrics
Wash programme with high water level for wash and
rinse and low speed spin.
X When washing curtains, place metal rings or plastic
hooks in a laundry net or bag (cushion cover).
Older curtains are often very bleached by the sun and
no longer very resistant. Machine washing can therefore
cause slight damage.
To prevent creasing at the end of the programme, it is
advisable to use the rinse stop function.
Nappies/Inkontinence linen 95°C
X White and colourfast cotton.
 In this programme the laundry will first be pre­rinsed
with cold water. Subsequently fill the detergent into the
compartments I and II then prewash will be started at
60°C and main wash at 95°C.
