4. Diagnosis

When the device is powered, a DIAGNOSIS menu is activated.
The following message appears on the screen:
Pan origin test:
Once the panning test has been completed, the zero point is set for the panning function.
Tilt origin test:
Once the tilting test has been completed, the zero point is set for the tilting function.
TX connection test:
60 second countdown for TX connection test.
The camera needs to receive a signal from a controller or a video for 60 seconds. If the
correct signal is received, the message says „TX Connection: Test OK".
If the message „Not Tested" comes up on the screen, then:
The camera has not received a signal
The camera has not received a readable signal
The protocol, Baud rate and RS-485 connection should be verified.
Camera communication test:
The „Camera Communication Test" runs automatically. Prior to the installation, these four
tests should be completed with status „OK".
If all tests mentioned above are "OK", the following messages comes up on the screen:
„NOW EEPROM CHECKING" and „ALL DATA INITIALIZING".
The camera is now ready to operate.
