3. The distance between two smoke
alarm devices with radio links - both in
active connection mode - is too much
so that no connection is possible.
Reduce the distance between the smo-
ke alarm devices with radio links by
using another smoke alarm device with
radio link.
4. A smoke alarm device with radio link
cannot be connected to a radio group.
Reset the concerned smoke alarm
device with radio link in delivery con-
dition and ensure that the connection
mode is on for all smoke alarm devices
with radio links for adding to a radio
group.
Inspection and
maintenance
This smoke alarm device with radio link
tests its reliable functioning automati-
cally and completely once a minute.
The device also automatically regu-
lates the sensitivity of its detection
electronics depending on the ambient
influences.
Please keep in mind that the smoke
inlets around the smoke alarm's edge
are never covered by dust, dirt, colour
or adhesive tape or walls, furniture or
other objects do not obstruct them.
In order to ensure that the device is
ready for operation, press the test/
stop button (Illus. 1 point d) regularly
(maybe once a month) to let out a test
alarm. Ensure that the device is unda-
maged and is firmly positioned and that
the smoke inlets (Illus. 1 point c) are
