with radio link can also reach the device
activated with the master function in-
directly through the signal forwarding
function (routing-repeating function) of
the other activated smoke alarm devices
with radio links in the connection mode
(the radio LED shows a regular, long,
yellow interval).
If the smoke alarm device with radio
link makes a direct or indirect contact
with the device with activated mas-
ter function and therefore has a radio
connection with at least one of the re-
maining smoke alarm devices with radio
links for creating the radio group, it is
confirmed with a green radio LED light.
After this green confirmation, the radio
LED changes to a regular, long, yellow
interval which shows that the connec-
tion mode is (also) activated for this
en
device now and the device is ready to
connect to other smoke alarm devices
with radio links to form a radio group.
You can now continue with further ins-
tallation out of the radio group.
The remaining time span for the more
structuring of the radio group extends
with each new device as soon as it is in-
cluded in the radio group with activated
connection mode and by 10 minutes for
all devices already in the radio group
and with connection mode activated.
To add more smoke alarm devices with
radio links to the radio group, repeat
the procedure given in this section. Up
to 15 smoke alarm devices with radio
links can be connected to one radio
group.
