If the attempt to connect a smoke
alarm device with radio link is not suc-
cessful, you can make the attempt again:
1. Deactivate the smoke alarm device
with radio link completely by pulling
out the red activation button (Illus. 1
point a) to the initial position (OFF).
Then keep the test/stop button (Illus. 1
point d) pressed for 2-3 seconds.
2. Then press the red activation button
(Illus. 1 point a) again as you did whi-
le activating the device the first time
(ON). The radio commissioning will
restart.

If a time span of about 10 minutes has
elapsed while setting up a radio group
during which the smoke alarm device
with radio link of a radio group is in
connection mode, the devices must be
reset into connection mode again if you
wish to add more smoke alarm devices
with radio links to the radio group.
1. In order to add one or more other
smoke alarm devices with radio links in
delivery condition to an existing radio
group that is no longer in the connec-
tion mode (displayed through a regular,
long yellow interval of radio LED), take
any smoke alarm device with radio link
from the existing radio group and keep
the radio button (Illus. 6 point a) using
the long, thin pin side of the activa-
tion fuse (Illus. 5) pressed as long as
the radio LED shows a yellow signal.
