If the current value blinks, you can switch between manual and automatic mode by
simultaneously pressing the buttons "INC" and "DEC".

In manual mode, the accumulators are charged with the current you have set.
In automatic mode, the charger calculates the charge current automatically, all
you do is set the top limit for the charge current. Shorter charging times can be
achieved depending on the accumulator and its internal resistance.
• Change the charge current (or in automatic mode the top limit for the charge current) using
the buttons "INC" and "DEC", confirm the value using the "Start/Enter" button. The number
of cells is established automatically!
• To begin the charging process, keep the "Start/Enter" button pressed (approx. 3 seconds).
• If the charger detects an error (e.g. no accumulator connected), a warning signal is emitted
and a corresponding info appears on the display.
You can stop the audio signal by pressing the "Batt Type/Stop" button. You then return to
the previous configuration menu.
• If the accumulator is detected correctly. the following display appears, for example:

• Once the charging process has been completed, an audio signal is emitted.

If you wish to terminate the charging process beforehand, press the "Batt Type/
Stop" button.

b) Décharger l'accumulateur (« DISCHARGE »)
• Après avoir sélectionné dans le menu principal le programme « NiMH » ou « NiCd » à l'aide
de la touche « Batt Type/Stop » et avoir validé par la touche « Start/Enter », vous pouvez
sélectionner la fonction de décharge par la touche « INC » ou « DEC » (la figure montre un
accumulateur NiMH) :

• Si le courant de charge et la tension de fin de décharge doivent être réglés, appuyez sur la
touche « Start/Enter ». Le courant de décharge clignote.
Modifiez le courant de décharge avec les touches « INC » et « DEC ». Confirmez la valeur
avec la touche « Start/Enter ». Vous pouvez régler une valeur entre 0.1A et 5.0A.
• Ensuite, la tension de fin de décharge commence à clignoter. Elle se règle également par
les touches « INC » et « DEC ». Des valeurs de tension entre 0.1V et 30.0V sont possibles.
Veillez lors du réglage de la valeur de tension auf fait que que la tension
d'éléments ne doit pas atteindre une valeur inférieure à 1.0V pour les
accumulateurs NiMH ou 0.85V pour les accumulateurs NiCd.
Autrement, l'accumulateur peut s'en trouver endommagé.
• Maintenez enfoncée la touche « Start/Enter » de manière prolongée (env. 3 secondes) pour
démarrer un processus de décharge. L'écran affiche alors différentes informations, comme
c'est le cas pendant le processus de charge (durée de décharge, capacité de décharge,
courant de décharge et tension actuelle de l'accumulateur).
• Si les réglages sont mauvais ou que le chargeur décèle un erreur, un signal d'avertissement
est émis et l'écran affiche une information correspondante.
La touche « Batt Type/Stop » vous permet d'arrêter le signal d'avertissement ; vous
retournez au menu de réglages précédant.
• Si vous appuyez pendant la décharge sur la touche « Start/Enter », le courant de décharge
peut être modifié, voir ci-dessus.
• Quand la décharge est terminée, un signal sonore est émis.

Si vous souhaitez arrêter la décharge précocement, appuyez sur la touche
« Batt Type/Stop ».
