3. Drill a 25-mm hole through the floor of the caravan approximately 150 mm centrally in front of the con-
trol unit (9).
CAUTION!
Avoid contacting the chassis, gas pipes and electrical cables!
4. Guide and connect the motor cables as per the cabling diagram (Fig. 10) (red = positive, black = nega-
tive).
5. The electrical wiring diagram (Fig. 10 + Table A (see below)) describes the electrical conduction path-
ways when installing motor units in front of the wheels / axle in the direction of the 'A' frame. Please
refer to Table B (see below) for the installation of the motor units on the reverse of the axle.

1. Using the cable markers (25), label the motor cables for the two motor units. The cables for the left-
hand and right-hand motors should be the same length. Avoid loops.
2. Add a little bit of cable close to the motor so that they have enough play during movement when the
rollers are contacting.
3. Guide the motor cables in the supplied flexible cable protection conduit (13) (this protects the electrical
cables from sharp edges and dirt) along the underside of the caravan floor and then through the drilled
hole.
4. Secure the cable protection conduit (13) with the cable clamps (23) and sheet screws (31) to the chas-
sis or the underfloor of the caravan.
5. If you have guided the motor cables through the drilled hole next to the control unit (9), shorten the
cables to a standardised length. Remove approximately 5 mm of insulation at the ends of the cables.
Secure the plug-in cable lugs (22) to the motor cables; you must use a crimper to do this. It is impor-
tant to ensure a secure and firm connection for each cable.
6. Screw the cable lug onto the corresponding terminals of the control unit (see cabling diagram, Fig. 10).
A secure and good connection of the individual cables is essential.
7. The supplied battery disconnection switch is fitted to the red positive battery cable (+). Find a suitable
point for the battery disconnection switch and its housing (28) (housing only required outdoors) so that
the disconnection switch is easily accessible from the exterior. We recommend installation in the area
around an entrance door or storage flap.
8. In cases of external installation, use the cardboard template to position the drill holes correctly. In
cases of internal installation, use the hole pattern in the recess of the housing (3 holes) to mark the
drilling holes. Install the switch (outdoors with housing) using the enclosed screws, washers and nuts.
Then mount the entire unit to the caravan using the stainless steel screws (31).
9. Route the red positive battery cable (+) with the built-in fuse from the battery to the battery disconnec-
tion switch (28) and from there to the control unit (9).
10.The cable connections to the battery disconnection switch must be protected using the supplied rubber
isolating caps (29).
11. Route the negative battery cable (-) from the battery directly to the control unit (9).
