15. CD/DVD functions of the remote control
a) Open/Close the tray, " " (2) key or "OPEN/CLOSE" (K)

After a CD has been inserted and the tray closed the play bay starts automatically.
b) Selecting the DVD-menu, "DVD MENU" (44) key
If the DVD includes a menu (which is the case for most original DVDs), it can be called by means of the "DVD MENU" key of the remote
control (44). For instance, bonus material may be called, audio and subtitle settings can be made, scenes may be directly selected, etc.
in the menu of the DVD, depending on the DVD in question.
c) Playing a DVD/CD, "PLAY" (34) key or (M)
To replay a DVD or CD, press the "PLAY" key of the remote control (34) or on the front side of the device (M).
d) Stopping the CD/DVD, " "(15) key or "STOP" (N)
To stop replaying a DVD/CD, press the " " key of the remote control (15) or the "STOP" key on the front side of the device (N).
By pressing the key " " once the device is in the "RESUME" mode. This means that if you press the "PLAY" key the device continues
replaying the CD/DVD exactly there where it has been stopped.
But only the second press on the " " key will stop the replay "properly".
e) Pause/Step function, "II / STEP" (12) key
While replaying, a CD/DVD can be stopped by pressing the "II / STEP" (12) key. In the DVD mode, by pressing the key anew you will
move on to another picture. Thus, you may regard a scene very slowly (picture by picture).
To continue replaying press the "PLAY" (34) key.
f) Fast rewind/forward wind, "
You may use these two keys of the remote control to rapidly rewind and wind forward the film.
For different speeds press the keys more often.
The corresponding speed factor will be displayed.
If the film is to run at a normal speed press the "PLAY" key again .
In the CD mode, the music will be fast-forwarded or rewound as long as you hold the key pressed.
g) Skip keys "I " and " I" (33)
These two keys serve for moving the chapters on the DVD or the individual tracks on a CD forwards and backwards.
h) Slow playback mode, "SLOW" (16) key
Via this key you can reduce the speed of the DVD replay.
For different speeds press the keys more often .
The corresponding speed factor will be faded in.
If the film is to run at a normal speed again press the "PLAY" key (34).
i) Repeat function, "REPEAT" (17) key
By pressing this key, the DVD chapter ("CHAPTER"), title ("TITLE") or the whole DVD ("ALL") can be repeated.
To deactivate this function press the key as often until the faded-in (CHAPTER/TITLE/ALL) message disappears.

Mit den Tasten "CHL " bzw. "CHL " folgende Eingaben wählen:
"CLOCK" Uhrzeit einstellen, Stunden und Minuten
"ON TIME" Einschaltzeit einstellen, Stunden und Minuten
"ON PROG" Programm einstellen, das beim Einschalten erscheinen soll
"OFF TIME" Ausschaltzeit einstellen
Die Einstellung der Zeiten usw. erfolgt jeweils mit den Tasten "VOL " bzw. "VOL ".
Mit der Taste "MENU" die Einstellung beenden
Das Gerät muss sich im "Standby"-Modus befinden, damit es sich zu der eingestellten Zeit von selbst einschalten
kann. Es darf nicht über den Netzschalter ausgeschaltet werden.
Wenn die Einschaltzeit erreicht ist, schaltet sich das Gerät von selbst ein, die eingestellte Einschaltzeit wird automatisch gelöscht.
Beim Erreichen der Ausschaltzeit schaltet sich das Gerät von selbst aus, die eingestellte Ausschaltzeit wird gelöscht.
Das automatische Löschen der Einschalt- und Ausschaltzeit verhindert, dass der Timer auch am nächsten Tag aktiv ist
(z.B. wenn Sie nicht daheim sind).

d) Setup

Wählen Sie hier die Sprache des OSD ("On-Screen-Display") aus.
Taste "MENU" auf der Fernbedienung (32) oder dem Gerät (F) drücken
Mit den Tasten "VOL " bzw. "VOL " die Einstelloption "SETUP" auswählen
Taste "CH " oder "CH " drücken
Mit den Tasten "VOL " bzw. "VOL " die gewünschte Sprache des OSD wählen
Taste "CH " drücken, um die Option "BLUE BACK" auszuwählen
Mit den Tasten "VOL " bzw. "VOL " einstellen, ob der blaue Hintergrund des OSD ein- oder ausgeschaltet sein soll (dies ist
möglicherweise bei dieser Version der TV-DVD-Kombi ohne Funktion!)
Mit der Taste "MENU" die Einstellung beenden
e) Personal-Preset, Taste "PP" (31)
Vier verschiedene Voreinstellungen für Helligkeit/Kontrast/Farbsättigung/Schärfe sind über diese Taste abrufbar.
Drücken Sie die Taste "PP" (31) mehrfach für folgende Voreinstellungen, auf dem Bildschirm erscheint eine entsprechende Einblen-
dung:
• MILD
• STANDARD
• DYNAMIC
• PP
Die Einstellung "PP" ist die von Ihnen gewählte Einstellung für Helligkeit/Kontrast/Farbsättigung/Schärfe.

11. Videotext

Videotext ist ein textbasiertes Informationssystem, das viele TV-Sender in der Austastlücke des Fernsehsignals übertragen. Im Video-
text finden Sie z.B. aktuelle Nachrichten in Kurzform, Sportergebnisse, die letzten Lottozahlen oder auch Kochrezepte (je nach Sen-
der).
Da die Seiten nacheinander übertragen werden und zahlreiche Videotext-Seiten existieren, kann es etwas dauern, bis die gewünschte
Seite übertragen und auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt wird.
Die Videotext-Seiten werden normalerweise von Seite 100 an aufwärts übertragen (einige TV-Sender übertragen die Videotext-Seiten
in absteigender Reihenfolge); je nach TV-Sender sind die Anzahl der Videotext-Seiten bzw. -Seitennummern unterschiedlich.
Die Startseite des jeweiligen Fernsehsenders ist immer die Seite 100. Das aktuelle Fernsehprogramm des jeweiligen
Senders findet man meist ab der Seite 300.
Zusätzlich wird im Videotext das aktuelle Datum, der Wochentag und die sekundengenaue Uhrzeit übertragen und angezeigt.
