This function is available only in the teletext mode.
Proceed as follows:
Enter the teletext page number you wish to search, e.g. "561".
Press the " " key, four stars "****" will appear instead of the page number at top left.
Enter the desired page of the multiple page, e.g. "0002".
Now, the second page of teletext page 561 will be searched and shown if the search was successful.
Press the "X" key if you wish to see the television picture while search is under way.
Once the desired page is found the page number you searched will be briefly faded in at top left in the television pic-
ture.
Press the "X" key anew to switch back to the teletext mode again and to have the found teletext page shown.
12. Change between the TV, AV, and DVD modes
You may use the "AV/TV" (24) key to change from the TV mode to the AV input.
You may use the "DVD" (30) key to change from the TV mode or the AV input to the DVD mode.
You may use the "TV" (29) key to change from the DVD mode or the AV input to the TV mode.
In the AV mode, that picture and sound signal is displayed which is provided at the front AV input or the Scart input.
13. CD/DVD mode
By pressing the "DVD" (30) key you can switch into the CD/DVD mode, see chapter 12.
The following CD types can be replayed in this mode:
• DVDs (customary DVDs and also self-recorded DVDs)
• VCDs, SVCDs
• MP3 CDs
• Audio CDs
• Image CDs with jpgs
In this context please observe the following:
• There are a lot of programs which generate the VCDs, SVCDs or DVDs and which comply more or less with the standards. This is
why there is no guarantee that each VCD, SVCD or self-recorded DVD can be properly replayed by the TV-DVD combined set.
• As well as the blank CD, CD-/DVD recorder or the recording software you use might affect the proper functioning of the TV-DVD
combined set.
• MP3-CDs or image CDs may only be CD-Rs but not DVD.
• Although large-size jpgs can also be displayed on image CDs (e.g. by 4 mega pixel digital camera), nevertheless problems can occur
while replaying. Among other reasons this can depend on the compression rate of jpg files.
If such problems occur, decrease the resolution of images by using a proper software. If displaying on TV, this modification will not
affect the image quality! The TV picture has a maximum resolution of approx. 752*576 pixels. Any higher resolution of jpg image files
must be decreased.
• The possible control functions of DVDs, SVCDs, self-recorded DVDs, MP3-CDs and image CDs differ during the replay.
For example, the subtitle option cannot be selected if no subtitles are available on the SVCD. Or you cannot use the skip keys to
change to previous or next chapter in case of VCDs. Please observe this fact while reading the following function description.
• Copy protected audio-CDs might not be playable in the TV-DVD combined set!
Open and close the DVD drawer either via the "Open/Close" key on the front side of the device (K) or via the respective key "
the remote control unit (2).
This is only possible if the TV-DVD combined set is in the CD/DVD mode!

Auf dem Bildschirm wird im "Stopp"-Modus in großer Schrift "DVD Video" angezeigt; bei laufender DVD-Wiedergabe drücken Sie
zuerst zweimal die Taste " " (Stopp) der Fernbedienung (15) oder die Taste "STOP" auf der Frontseite des Geräts (N).
Drücken Sie dann die Taste "SETUP" der Fernbedienung (42).
Mit den vier Richtungstasten " ", " ", " ", " " der Fernbedienung (9, 37, 11, 38) und der Taste "ENTER" (39) lässt sich das Setup-
Menü bedienen und Einstellungen vornehmen/bestätigen.
Folgende Menüpunkte erscheinen im Hauptmenü:

Die Einstellungen können nur im "Stopp"-Modus des DVD-Players verändert werden, d.h. es darf dabei keine CD/DVD
abgespielt werden.
Mit den Tasten " "und " " können Sie die Menüpunkte von oben nach unten durchschalten bzw. in den Untermenüs
die gewünschte Auswahl treffen.
Mit den Tasten " " und " " kann das jeweilige Untermenü aufgerufen oder verlassen werden.
Mit der Taste "ENTER" kann eine Einstellung bestätigt werden.

TV DISPLAY
Das Videobild der DVD kann auf drei verschiedene Arten wiedergegeben werden:
- "NORMAL PS"
"PS" ist die Abkürzung für "Pan & Scan". Das Bild wird größer dargestellt, dadurch wird bei der Wiedergabe von 16:9-DVDs vom
Bild links und rechts ein Stück abgeschnitten.
- "NORMAL LB"
"LB" ist die Abkürzung für "Letterbox". Dies ist normale Einstellung für alle DVDs. 16:9-DVDs werden mit maximaler Breite am
Gerät dargestellt, oben und unten gibt es den unvermeidbaren schwarzen Balken.
- "WIDE"
Dies ist der 16:9-Modus, ideal für einen 16:9-Fernseher, z.B. wenn der S-Videoausgang des TV-DVD-Kombigeräts an einen 16:9-
Fernseher angeschlossen ist; das Bild auf dem TV-DVD-Kombigerät wird verzerrt dargestellt!
Wird diese Option eingeschaltet, erscheint bei Filmszenen mit mehreren Blickwinkeln ein entsprechendes Symbol. Wählen Sie den
Blickwinkel mit der Taste "ANGLE" (8).
DVDs mit Filmszenen mit mehreren Blickwinkeln sind jedoch sehr selten.
Wählen Sie hier die gewünschte Sprache des OSD (On-Screen-Display).
