Connection to the amplifier inputs
The Car Amplifier has 2 preamplifier inputs:
To connect the car radio, the input MAIN-IN (2) is used.
An additional audio source (e.g. portable CD player) can be connected to the AUX-IN
input (3).
Equipment with phono outputs can be connected directly to the input sockets. If for
example the car radio has only loudspeaker outputs, then a suitable LF adapter (e.g.
Part No. 32 09 78) must be used for the connection.
For connection to the inputs, use only screened phono cables sui-
table for the purpose. Use of other cables can lead to faults.
Keep the length of the phono cables as short as possible.
Do not lay the phono cables close to other cables. Disturbing
interference at the amplifier input is thereby avoided.
Connect the MAIN-IN input (2) to the pre-
amplifier output of the car radio.
Connect the AUX-IN input (3) to the pre-
amplifier output of the additional audio
source, if present.
