Connect the current supply connection
GND (12) to the negative (earth) terminal
of the battery or to the vehicle chassis.
Connect the operating panel to the Car
Amplifier.
Intructions in brief:
• yconnect the current supply connection B+ (10) to +12 V
• connect the current supply connection REM (11) to the car radio antenna control
output
• connect the current supply connection GND (12) to earth
• connect the operating panel to the REMOTE CONTROLLER connection (8) on the
Car Amplifier using the supplied connection lead.
Tip:
Carry out the distribution of the voltage supply in 'star' format, i.e. bring the negative
cable connections for all components of the car hi-fi system always from one point.
This method of distribution avoids earth loops.
Proceed likewise with the positive cables.

voltage of +12 V is present at this output
only when the radio is switched on.
In case the vehicle radio has no such
connection, an additional switch is requi-
red to connect the current supply
connection REM (11) to +12 V. Select a
terminal as control voltage source which
is switched via the ignition lock (terminal
15 of the vehicle supply), so that the
amplifier is switched off together with
the ignition. The amplifier can then be
switched on and off with the switch
when the ignition is on.
Attention: not every metal part is suita-
ble as an earthing point, because electri-
cal conductivity is reduced by painted
metal parts and by ever more-frequently-
used adhesive techniques.
Plug the round operating panel connec-
tion plug into the corresponding cou-
pling of the supplied operating panel
connection lead.
Connect the Western plug of the opera-
ting panel connection lead to the REMO-
TE CONTROLLER connection (8) on the
Car Amplifier.
