Ajustage du régulateur des signaux :
Appuyez la touche SEL (21), jusqu'à ce
que l'affichage FAD (31) clignote.
A l'aide de la touche UP/DOWN (24),
ajustez le rapport de l'intensité sonore
souhaitée entre l'avant et l'arrière.
Ajustage de la sensibilité pour l'affichage du spectre (38) :
Appuyez la touche SEL (21), jusqu'à ce
que l'affichage pour la sensibilité de l'af-
fichage SENS (32) clignote.
A l'aide de la touche UP/DOWN (24),
ajustez la sensibilité de l'affichage.
Allumer respectivement éteindre la sortie SUBWOOFER LINE-OUT (4) :
Appuyez la touche SEL (21), jusqu'à ce
que l'affichage pour le subwoofer SUB
ON (33) clignote.
A l'aide de la touche UP/DOWN (24) allu-
mez ou éteignez la sortie subwoofer (4).
Ajustage de l'équilibreur :
Appuyez la touche équilibreur (28) que
vous souhaitez ajuster.
A l'aide de la touche UP/DOWN (24)
ajustez le niveau souhaité de la fréquen-
ce sélectionnée.
Ajustage du mode d'affichage au display :
Appuyez la touche DISP (23) aussi long-
temps jusqu'à ce que le mode d'afficha-
ge souhaité soit ajusté.

En appuyant à l'extrémité supérieure,
vous diminuez l'intensité sonore des
haut-parleurs à l'arrière, en appuyant à
l'extrémité inférieure, vous diminuez l'in-
tensité sonore des haut-parleurs à
l'avant.
En appuyant à l'extrémité supérieure,
vous ajustez une haute sensibilité, en
appuyant à l'extrémité inférieure, vous
diminuez la sensibilité.
En appuyant à l'extrémité supérieure,
vous allumez la sortie, en appuyant à
l'extrémité inférieure, vous l'éteignez
(affichage SUB ON disparaît).
L'affichage correspondant clignote au
display.
En appuyant à l'extrémité supérieure,
vous augmentez le niveau, en appuyant
à l'extrémité inférieure, vous le diminuez.
Le mode d'affichage se modifie de la
manière suivante :
NORMAL > PEAK HOLD > MOUTH >
CIRCLE
NORMAL:
Le niveau de la fréquence affichée est
affiché de bas en haut
Electrical connection
Electrical connection should only be carried out by a specialist.
To avoid short-circuits and damage to the unit resulting from this,
the negative (chassis) terminal of the car battery must be dis-
connected during connection.
Only reconnect the negative terminal of the battery when the unit
is completely connected and all connections have been checked.
To check the voltage at the vehicle voltage cables, use only a volt-
meter or diode test lamp because normal test lamps draw too
high a current and the vehicle electronics can thereby be dama-
ged.
Take care that the cables do not abrade on sharp edges; use rub-
ber grommets at feed-through points.
To avoid interfering with the generator or other electrical equip-
ment in the vehicle, the voltage supply to the unit should be taken
directly from the terminal on the vehicle battery. That is to say, no
other loads such as fans, windscreen wipers, etc. may be supplied
with voltage via the same cable as the Car Amplifier.
For the voltage supply and chassis connections, use cables with
as large a cross-section as possible. The required cross-section
is determined by the power requirements of the connected com-
ponents. If cables with too-small a cross-section are used, in
adverse cases this can lead to the melting-through of a cable. In
addition, unnecessary power losses occur through the increased
electrical resistance of the small-cross-section cables.
An additional fuse in the positive feed is absolutely necessary (e.g.
with fuseholder Part No. 32 10 60, not supplied). The fuse must be
located as close to the battery as possible. In case of short-circuit
(e.g. connection cable abraded through) the fuse interrupts the
positive feed and damage to the battery or a cable fire in the feed
is thereby prevented. The fuse rating is determined by the current
consumption of the connected car hi-fi system.
