HIGH O2
The %O2 represents oxygen accumulated as a result of the repetitive Nitrox dives you have conducted during that operating
period. The %O2 displayed on the ALT screen lets you monitor how close you are coming to the limits of oxygen exposure.
If the theoretical amount of oxygen accumulated reaches 80% of the limit for a single exposure, or 24 hour period (240 OTU =
80%), the Audible will sound during which the O2 % vlaue flashes in place of NDC time if in No Deco, or TAT if in Deco (Fig.
73).
If O2 reaches 100% of the exposure limit (300 OTU), the Audible will sound again, 100 % O2 will replace NDC or TAT (Fig.
74), and the Up Arrow icon will flash until on the surface.
• S (< 2 sec) - to acknowledge/silence the Audible.
• A (< 2 sec) - to view ALT screens.
• M (2 sec) - to access the Gas Switch Routine.
• L (press) - to activate the Backlight.
Upon surfacing, operation will lock into NORM mode until the O2 decreases below 100%. Access to Watch Mode is allowed
but access to GAUG and FREE is blocked.
