9. TROUBLESHOOTING

SPEAKER OF THE HANDSET DOES NOT FUNCTION ANYMORE
(NO SPEAKER VOLUME)
• Make sure that the speaker volume switch of the handset is set in the
maximum position and not in the middle.
• Check whether the delivered telephone plug has been used.
• Check if the telephone plug has been connected correctly.
THE DISPLAY DOES NOT FUNCTION
• Check if the battery connector has been connected correctly.
• Check if the battery charger contacts are not damaged or dirty.
• Charge the battery via the speed charge procedure as described in point 7.

INDICATORS ON THE BASE STATION DO NOT FUNCTION
• Check if the adaptor and the telephone plug have been connected in the
correct openings on the backside of the base station.
• Check the power supply of the adaptor.
• Check if the delivered adaptor has been used.
BASE STATION DOES NOT RING / WHEN STARTING THE SPEED CHARGE
PROCEDURE, YOU DO NOT HEAR A BEEP 5 SECONDS AFTER PRESSING
THE PAGING BUTTON
• Check if the ring volume switch of the base station is not set in the OFF
position.
OUTGOING CALLS ARE NOT POSSIBLE / WRONG DIALLING MODE
• Change the dialling mode (pulse dialling/tone dialling).
BAD CONNECTION
• The handset is too far away from the base station, move closer.

YOU HEAR AN INTERMITTENT BEEP DURING THE CONVERSATION
• You are too far away from the base station, if you do not move closer to the
base station within 10 seconds, the conversation will be broken.
• Possibly the 15 minutes conversation timer is activated. Press a numerical
button (0-9) to continue the conversation.
• When the battery symbol appears on the display of the handset, the battery
needs to be charged.
