8.15. PAGING

With this function you can call the handset from the base station and vice versa.
Paging from base station to handset:
Press the paging button of the base station. The handset emits a ringer sound and
"INT" appears on the display during 20 seconds.
Press the line button to answer the internal call by means of 2 beeps. If you press the
line button again, the internal call is broken.
You can also call the base station from the handset. Proceed as follows:

This function does not allow you to have an intercom conversation between the base
station and the handset. Only a ringer sound can be activated.
8.16. CHANGING THE PIN-CODE OF THE HANDSET
By means of the PIN-code (Personal Identification Number) you can protect your hand-
set from the unauthorised changing of your settings. Standard this PIN-code has been
set to 0000. This can be changed as follows:

(xxxx= current PIN-code)

Enter the new 4-digit PIN-code t w i c e and press the set button

Make sure that you do not forget the PIN-code of your handset. If you do, your unit
has to be resent to our technical service.

8.17. OUT OF RANGE WARNING

Obstacles between the handset and the base station will influence the operation
range. When the handset is too far away from the base station, the quality of the con-
nection will deteriorate and you will hear a warning tone. The communication will be
broken automatically if you do not go back into the operation range within 10
s e c o n d s .
If a connection between the handset and the base station is not possible, you will
hear an intermittent warning tone.
