Symptom
The view in the display
does not light up.
No sound and picture,
the LED on he receiver
tlights up.
No sound or picture.
The TV set does
not show a picture.
Poor picture,
locking error
The remote control
does not function.
The menu cannot be
called up.
If a malfunction still cannot be rectified, please contact your specialist
dealer or the manufacturer.

Possible cause and remedy
The power cable is not connected.
Connect the power cable to the mains socket.
The mains switch is not switched on.
Switch the mains switch on.
The receiver is in standby mode
Press the "Power" key. The receiver switches on and the
channel is shown on the TV screen.
No signal or a weak signal only.
Check the cable connection to the receiver and from the
receiver to the connected devices.
Align the antenna.
The system is not connected correctly.
Check the SCART or HF cable's connection.
The TV set is not in AV mode.
Switch the TV set to the relevant AV input.
The antenna is not aligned correctly.
Align the antenna.
The batteries are spent.
Replace the batteries with new ones.
The remote control is not being pointed properly.
Point the remote control at the front of the receiver and
make sure that nothing is positioned between the remote
control and the receiver.
The device is in "Tuner B" operation.
Change to tuner A by pressing the "A/B" button.
