Carrying out basic settings
For checking purposes, the name of the station which you have
selected is displayed in "Turn On Channel".
In the "Timer Type" option, you may choose between
• "One Time"
• "Daily"
• "Weekly" and
• "Monthly".
Select the desired option.
Depending on the option, set the desired time, day of the week
or date.
The option "Turn On/Off" may be used to set whether the receiver
is to switch itself on or off at the selected point in time.
If you wish the receiver to switch on at the selected time, select
"Turn ON" under "Event Type".
If you wish the receiver to switch off at the selected event type,
select "Turn OFF" under "Event Type".
The option "Enable" may be used to enable or disable the timer.
If you do not wish to switch the timer on, select "No" under
"Enable".
If you wish to switch the timer on, select "Yes" under "Enable".
Immediate Recording
In order to record one programme and watch another programme
at the same time, please proceed as follows:
Switch the receiver to tuner B using the "A/B" button.
Select the channel on which the programme you would like to
record is being shown.

The letter "B" appears briefly on the screen and in the
display the dot on the right of the current programme
memory location lights up.
